Interview Poster
My Role in this Project: Interviewed Jeff Frisbee of the U.S. Army for a specific story, created poster design around that story using Photoshop and Illustrator, focusing on color and typography.
* This poster was displayed at Washtenaw Community College for use of typography.
Expanding Photo
My Role in this Project: Photographed a local park and imported images into Photoshop. Used Illustrator to create unique typography, and brought it all together to create an expanded photo effect.

My Role in this Project: Created the layout and added JavaScript to automatically generate the global navigation, the title, and a "printed from" link on the printable CSS version.

My Role in this Project: Used JavaScript to create unobtrusive buttons on the right hand column. These buttons call functions which use JavaScript to manipulate the content area. Also used Javascript to produce a list of keywords from the article at the bottom of the page.

University of Michigan
Health System
eLearning Usability Projects
The following group of usability reports were completed for the University of Michigan Health System as part of a process to improve an eLearning Learning Management System (LMS) and associated websites. The most recent deliverable is listed first. These reports mask the product name with either a box or "eLearning."
Website Usability Testing Phase 3 (pdf 25mb)- This report is based on a usability study focusing on re-organizing and adding to the eLearning services website seen in previous deliverables.
- This report was completed after an open interview style usability study which involved 85 users. The participants were educational leaders and department managers. The goal of the study was to determine user's needs in a learning management system within a health care environment.
- This report is based on a usability study completed after changes were implemented from the previous report (below).
- This usability testing report is for a brand new eLearning services website, which is an informative website for the LMS mentioned in the previous 3 deliverables.
- This report is based on a round of user testing for the LMS which was improved since rounds 1 and 2. The report serves as confirmation to continue with implementation, it also highlights a comparison of the system from round 1 as well as additional recommendations.
- This usability report is based on a second round of user testing. The deliverable illustrates what changes were made since the first round of testing (below) and what changes still need to be made.
- This report is based on user testing of the LMS and includes survey results, recommendations, and wireframes.
Men's Diet and Health Deliverables

- A competitive analysis created for the Men's Diet and Health website.
Miscellaneous Deliverables
Usability Testing (pdf 362kb)- A complete usability testing report done for the Washtenaw Community College Bailey Library. This deliverable was a group collaboration and contains user testing information, graph analysis, and recommendations.
- Accessibility inspection completed for a sports website.
- This deliverable contains recommendations based on user testing.
- Created a task analysis and storyboards for the Detroit Public Library.
- Conducted several card sorts for this deliverable complete with wireframes.
- Conducted a usability inspection on a local pet store website.
- Competitive analysis completed for a fictitious bank.
