Interview Poster
My Role in this Project: Interviewed Jeff Frisbee of the U.S. Army for a specific story, created poster design around that story using Photoshop and Illustrator, focusing on color and typography.

Expanding Photo
My Role in this Project: Photographed a local park and imported images into Photoshop. Used Illustrator to create unique typography, and brought it all together to create an expanded photo effect.

My Role in this Project: Used JavaScript to create unobtrusive buttons on the right hand column. These buttons call functions which use JavaScript to manipulate the content area. Also used Javascript to produce a list of keywords from the article at the bottom of the page.

The following are some usability deliverables I have produced.
University of Michigan
Health System
eLearning Usability Projects
The following group of usability reports were completed for the University of Michigan Health System as part of a process to improve an eLearning Learning Management System (LMS) and associated websites. The most recent deliverable is listed first. Currently, you will find a description of the report and may contact me for more information and/or samples.
Educational and Learning Needs Study
- A total of 312 participants were interviewed and surveyed during this study. The goal was to determine user's needs in a learning management system within a health care environment (as follow up to the study listed below) as well as to understand learning and educational processes and needs within the institution. This study included 312 participants over 8 weeks. The report is 70 pages long.
Open Interview Usability Study
- This report was completed after an open interview style usability study which involved 85 users. The participants were educational leaders and department managers. The goal of the study was to determine user's needs in a learning management system within a health care environment. This study included 85 participants over 9 weeks. The report is 120 pages long.
Website Usability Testing Round 2
- This report is based on a usability study completed after changes were implemented from the previous report (below). This study included 13 participants over 2 weeks. The report is 27 pages long.
Website Usability Testing Round 1
- This usability testing report is for a brand new eLearning services website, which is an informative website for the LMS mentioned in the previous 3 deliverables. This study included 12 participants over 2 weeks. The report is 31 pages long.
LMS Usability Testing Round 3
- This report is based on a third round of user testing for the LMS which was improved since rounds 1 and 2. The report serves as confirmation to continue with implementation, it also highlights a comparison of the system from round 1 as well as additional recommendations. This study included 18 participants over 2 weeks. The report is 45 pages long.
LMS Usability Testing Round 2
- This usability report is based on a second round of user testing. The deliverable illustrates what changes were made since the first round of testing (below) and what changes still need to be made. This study included 4 participants over 1 day. The report is 17 pages long.
LMS Usability Testing Round 1
- This report is based on user testing of the LMS and includes survey results, recommendations, and wireframes. This study included 16 participants over 3 weeks. The report is 40 pages long.
